Brought to the Company by one of its investors, Gorky Park is its only international project. Gorky Park, the central park of Moscow, was a barren urban open space with a historic agricultural pavilion. A plan was developed to produce a life-style retail center for the citizens of Moscow – renovating the historic pavilion and converting it into a contemporary, light filled, enclosed shopping center surrounded by a reinvented park filled with shops, restaurants, and a Rockefeller Center-esque ice rink. The plan embraced by the government officials of Moscow and was developed in part by local Russian developers.
