The Company acquired 800 Wilshire in 2004 at a favorable price that was less than $135.00 per square foot. The building increased dramatically in value since its acquisition mirroring a significant rise in the market for office buildings and benefiting from the Company’s management and marketing of the building. The Company directed a significant upgrading of the building’s interiors and tenant spaces and has transformed what was historically ground floor office space into an active urban, street front with the introduction of a cocktail lounge, Remedy, and restaurant, Provecho, serving modern Mexican cuisine.

The Company sold the building for over $300 a foot to its institutional partner, Prudential Real Estate Investors, in June of 2008.
